Made for us by Elcold in Denmark, the SCOOPY61 is a 71" wide ice cream freezer. The sneezeguard comes with a built-in light to keep ice cream in full view of your customers and staff. This modular design installs in just minutes and can easily be removed for quick cleaning. Two smoothly sliding tempered glass freezer lids let staff open and close as needed, ensuring ice cream isn't overexposed to warmer air temperature. Casters are included for optional installation. The digital thermostat is located on the serving side, away from the customers so that your staff can easily manage the temperature. This unit has a wide operating range of -13 to 50 F to accommodate a variety of desserts. Inside, the SCOOPY61 features a steel interior in a clean white finish designed for lasting durability in busy commercial settings. We include 6 ice cream tub holder baskets specially designed with rubber brakes to prevent tubs from rotating during the scooping process. The baskets allow you to serve from 12 11" round/3 gallon tubs, with plenty of space underneath to keep another 10 tubs in the freezer for fast refills (bringing your overall storage capacity to 22 tubs). The high loadline makes it easier for staff to scoop without bending down. Elcold ice cream freezers are designed and constructed to ensure years of reliable service. The innovative design features a unique "D"-shaped evaporator for fast temperature pulldown, high efficiency operation, and stable temperature. They're also built with more coils than comparable brands to improve the heat exchange. This unit utilizes a manual defrost cooling system with environmentally friendly R290a cooling agent and extra thick insulation. A drain is included for easy defrosting when needed.
