Sized for 24" wide openings, model MDR245SS is a 1.2 cu.ft. microwave with a pull-out drawer that can be installed in wall openings and kitchen islands, helping to free up counter space. One-touch open and close buttons make it easy to access and the top-loading design lets you monitor your cooking progress from the perfect position. The white interior includes a light, making it safer to remove hot items. This unit comes with a brushed stainless steel and jet black exterior for a modern look to suit any kitchen. This unit can be installed in compliance with ADA guidelines to ensure user accessibility. The control panel is set at a slight angle, making it easier to keep the settings in full view from any position. The "defrost by weight" setting helps to ensure a more efficient thawing process. Additional one-touch settings include a +30 seconds setting, popcorn button, beverage button, and melt setting that lets you choose from butter, chocolate, cheese, or marshmallow. A "soften" setting lets you achieve the best conditions for butter, cream cheese, or ice cream. This unit has an audible buzzer, which can be disabled if you prefer a quieter operation. A child lock and clock/timer are also included.
