If any part of the cabinet or structure you have selected for use with your griddle is made from combustible materials (wood, plastic, etc.) your griddle MUST be used with the Blackstone insulating jacket (part number: #6228), available exclusively at http://blackstoneproducts.com. For your safety the insulating jacket must be permanently secured to your cabinet or structure. Please note, even with the use of an insulating jacket, any vertical combustible construction (walls, backsplash, etc.) must be 6 inches away from the appliance.

Electric auto Safe Start ignition: Automatically cuts off gas supply if ignition does not light to prevent accumulation of gas.
