Okay Model - Ventless is slow to dry

We've enjoyed the Electrolux for years. Had to leave our older models with the sale of our home, and buy new models for our new home. Very disappointed that the energy-saving features of the Electrolux have added over 1.5 hours to my laundry loads - about 30 to 45 minutes for washing, and at least 30 minutes for drying. Unbeknownst to me and my husband, what got shipped (ordered) was a ventless dryer - this takes much longer to dry a load, especially towels and king bed sheet set. I have found that putting the dryer setting on a 'set-timed dry plus drying boost' does speed up the time a bit, and it's the only complete dry setting that works for me. Hence, all the other dryer settings are useless. A lot of engineering for only one dryer option that works.... I miss my old Electrolux.

Ventless Dryer Miracle!!! No more hassle and extra expense of cleaning the ductwork running through our home's ceiling. Works like a dream, clothes are quickly dried and smell fresh!!! DEFINITELY worth the investment.

I was reluctant to buy a ventless, given what I'd read on the internet about ventless machines in general (slow, don't get things dry enough, heats up the house). None of that stuff has been an issue with this machine. It works beautifully, quickly, quietly. Yes, it does discharge some heat into the room, but any conventional, vented dryer will heat the room up a bit, too. I put this small unit in my cabin... and now my wife wants the full-sized version at home.

We love our new dryer and it is such a giant step up from our old dryer that was damaging our clothes.I was a little apprehensive at first because I have never used a ventless dryer before but it has turned out to work very well for us. We drain the dryer with the washing machine drain so we don™™t have to empty the water tray.

My neighbor and I both purchased Eletrolux ventless dryers and both have water collecting in the condensor. (1hr of dryer about 1 cup of water in condensor) Nobody at Eleltrolux can tell me if this is normal or how to fix it. I've had it for about two months and just noticed this. Before a tech comes out and starts ripping things apart I would like someone from the company to give me an answer...is it that hard?

Didn't need a new dryer as mine was still working but I am so happy I got the matching washer and t. This dryer is fantastic. I wasn't quite sure what a ventless dryer was but it works great. You do have to empty the water and lint every time after the cycle is done. However, there are NO wrinkles in the clothes. Glad I purchase Electrolux set.

This model is an upgrade to the previous model which I had prior to this purchase. I like the updated control panel and some other design changes that they made. I learned that the ventless models need to have a lot of room for airflow otherwise they will run too hot and shrink your clothes. I keep my laundry closet open so it would not overheat while it is running. I am running it on the shorter cycles like "activewear" and choose the "less" dry option and the clothes come out great. Other presets run for way too long and can shrink your clothes. Overall, it is a good upgrade compared to the prior version and one of the only models out there of this size.

We installed the dryer in the kitchen inside a cabinet as part of a renovation to make it easier to do laundry without going up and down stairs. We needed a small ventless option and this Electrolux model did the trick. It is very quiet and dries loads pretty quickly for this type of dryer. We keep the door of the cabinet open when drying to avoid any residual heat and moisture from building up inside the cabinet. This model has worked out pretty well for our needs.

We didn't intend to purchase a ventless dryer but our space is very small and we felt this dryer was our best option. The dryer does put out a steady stream of warm to hot air (depending on the setting) from the front vent which isn't a huge issue for us since it's in a separate laundry room where we can open a window to release the heat BUT I would not want it blowing hot air into another room of my house in the summer, fighting the A/C. The upside is that whatever delicates that we hang up in the same room, are dry in no time!

I was a little concerned from all the online reviews about ventless dryers, however this particular model had great reviews. I can confirm that it is as good or better than what folks are posting online. My clothes come out dry and even feel warm. I'm pretty excited about this technology as I think it will also increase the health of my clothes (and decrease my power bill). Great little dryer! Fits perfectly in the w/d closet in my condo (I stacked on top of the washer). Super easy to install and works like a charm. Note that a stuffed load in the washer will also fill this dryer up probably too much, so I don't recommend trying to cram everything in here.

We switched to an electric dryer after our 30 yr old gas stacked unit washer and dryer finally gave up. We were forced to get electric since we couldn™™t find gas stacked units that fit in our space. Electrolux stackable washer/dryer units were the right size and were on sale. They™™re beautiful appliances. The electric dryer will take some time to get used to since it takes more time to dry some items. You have to take the items out of the dryer to gage their dryness since they usually feel damp in the dryer because of the ventless feature. Sadly, you can™™t manually set the timing to anything less than 30 minutes. I™™m sure we™™ll adapt. At any case, we are happy with our purchase.

Due to limited space in my apartment, I needed a ventless dryer. I did my research and it seemed like I should expect to be disappointed with drying times and efficiency, but Electrolux was having a sale so I but the bullet and hoped for the best. A few contractors I knew recommended Bosch, but many articles and interviews with professional repair and maintenance folks mentioned that Electrolux was their favorite due to quality control and design quality. Reading the comments on their products throughout Home Depot, Lowes, and Best Buy™™s websites I was surprised to see overall far fewer negative reviews than competitors™™ ventless dryers. Glad to say I am not disappointed. My new dryer works as well as any vented dryer I™™ve ever used. No glitches, no moist towels, no problems. I™™m so glad I took a gamble on this brand I™™d never heard of six months ago.

I originally purchased an LG Dryer. 3 defective dryers later I got a refund and purchased this dryer from a different store. It didn't work. My electrician took a look and it was a simple and common issue. Over torquing. While putting together the dryer the screws on one of the hot's was tightened too much which caused it to shift to close to the neutral causing it to run hot. He fixed it easily. It now runs great. It's honestly the best dryer I've ever used. I especially love the lint trap. It's like a clam shell made of mesh. The lint fails through the vents at the top and lands inside it, between the mesh walls. You slide the entire thing out, open it, and there's the lint. The design means no lint falls into the dryer itself like with other dryers. It might not seem like much, but I always found it a pain to clean out the slot where the lint filter was. With this, no extra cleaning. Also, when the dryer is running it will add or subtract time as needed so it doesn't run longer than necessary. Since I have to wash my uniforms for work every night that is a major plus. It means no staying up longer than needed.All in all, there have been no issues except the original one. It's worked perfectly since, and has several small features that at first glance seem forgettable, but actually make life easier. It's a wonderful dryer and when my washer finally goes ( Hopefully not for another 30 years. ) I'll be aiming for one in the same brand.

Still getting used to the ventless concept and how to use the settings. Have not been impressed with Ecomode as clothes do not seem to get as dry. The compact size works wonderfully in the space we have to use.

We chose this condensing dryer to be more eco-friendly instead of a conventional vented dryer. It works very well and has lots of cycles and features to choose from. We chose to use the included kit that drains the water directly out instead of emptying the reservoir for each use. One unanticipated thing to be aware of if the heat that the dryer puts out through the vents in the front. We have this in our master bathroom and it puts out enough heat to fully warm the entire room. This is a great plus for our New Hampshire winters but if you live with AC all the time, this may not be your best option. We stacked it with the STACKIT24 kit which was a very easy process.

I'm new to a ventless dryer, but I really like how the clothes come out dry, but not burning hot. My only complaint is the air flow from the dryer blows hot air out into the room from the front of the machine. It will be helpful on cold days, but what about summer?

Product failed in within days. Home Depot will not accept a return. Factory Service could not repair and had to order parts. Parts are now back ordered but Electrolux did not advise that and never notified or cancelled the second service appointment. Customer service in the Manila cannot advise why the lack of notification and cannot escalate to a real person. We are over one month without a dryer and it will be 9 weeks dryerless before next service appt, but no guarantees the part is actually available or in route. The field service tech is great, but his hands are tied.

I purchased a 1985 tiny home that was built with an unusually small laundry closet. I found the ventless dryer solution and knew Electrolux was a great brand. I am very happy with the performance of the unit. It is not loud and dries my clothes well. It will dry a load of towels in about 90 minutes depending on how damp they are. You do need to be aware that it vents some hot air out the front of the unit so the doors of the laundry closet must remain open during the drying. I was not aware of this as this is my first ventless dryer. Overall it does a great job and I am satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Electrolux Team!

I love the Electrolux ventless dryer. I was worried about the smaller size and other reviewers comments that it heated the area around it, but I have found the size perfect and the convenience of not needing a dryer vent outweigh any minor negatives. There is a little heat around the dryer, but my old gas dryer had the same issue. I dry my clothes on normal heat and towels on high. The clothes may feel ™damp™ but I pull them out and hang them or spread them out and they finish drying immediately. I find this is better for my clothes than a hot dryer and bone dry clothes. I™™m thrilled with the purchase.

I really like my Electrolux washer, but their dryers have been somewhat disappointing to me.A neighbor purchased a ventless dryer from a competitor and was happy with ventless operation so I thought I would give the Electrolux model a try.I expected that a ventless dryer would put more heat and humidity in the air, but I was surprised on the amount of lint I could also smell in the air also. The amount of airbourne lint seems to be worst when I dry towels. I also noticed that the lint filter does not fit tightly in the dryer slot for it; it easily shifts side to side in the slot and a fair amount of lint does collect around the filter edges. There doesn't seem to be a lot of lint though on the condenser unit.There are a lot of cycle selections and options for the dryer however note that the ECO (economy) mode is only available on the normal (cotton) setting. Also, my washer keeps track of the last set of options selected for each cycle selection (normal, towels, delicates, etc); with this dryer, you need to reselect them each time.The dryer drum does rotate in both directions. I was hoping this feature would keep my microfiber sheets from wrapping up in a ball but unfortunate it did not help. Even on the heavy duty cycle, the dryer will wrap the sheets in a ball then shut off within a few minutes. My old vented electrolux dryer would typically dry the same sheets on medium heat within about 15 minutes. To avoid frustration, I've had to start air drying the sheets for an hour or two and then put them in the dryer.As someone metioned in another review, clothes do seem moist when they come out of the dryer but the moisture is heated so high that it evaporates quickly once you take the clothes out. Because of this moisture, the clothes feel sofer than they would coming out of a vented dryer.Not a bad dryer but it seems to put out more lint than I would expect and on some cycles it will shut off before the cycle is completed. I've had two serviceman out to inspect the dryer and neither (including one directly from electrolux) was able to find an issue.

I am a long time Electrolux customer. My last condenser dryer unfortunately only lasted four years. Right after the warranty was out, we had to replace the heat element and pump. Then in March of 2021 it quit heating again. Instead of putting more money into the unit, and because I love the concept and the way it works, when it works, I saved to purchase a new one. It was delivered October 8th 2021. November 10, 2021 it stopped heating and gave me a code AL 60. Nowhere in my reading the manual or researching online could I find this code. I tried the reset option in the manual to no avail. This morning November 11th, 2021 I have spent 1.5 hours on the phone and another half hour on the chat, trying to find out what this code means. The two people I communicated with were perfectly polite but unable to do anything except tell me that I will have to wait for 3 - 5 business days to be contacted and given an appointment for service. Since I have just had the experience of dealing with Elextrolux/Frigidaire's system of service calls for broken refrigerator for the company I work for, I am completely discouraged with my choice of purchasing Electrolux again. Service calls are averaging 1.5 - 2 months out. Wish I had read some of the more recent reviews. This company's product used to be amazing. Now I am back to lugging my laundry twenty minutes away to dry my clothes. After seven months of doing that to save up for my new unit, the novelty has worn off, and winter is not just coming, it has already arrived.

This machine has amazing technology. But it requires that the installers know how to 8nstall it. Ours didn't have a clue. No more exhaust hose, and the water is pumped right into the washing machine drain. Two caveats: It is SLOW, about 90 minutes for an average load. And it is meant to stack. We are going to have to build a platform for it since they evidently don't make a pedestal for it.

I have been dealing with this dryer for the last few weeks I would NOT recommend it for indoor use, garage maybe! After having read reviews from a number of ventless dryers owners I thought we could give ventless a try. Big mistake! It turned our 9 x 10 utility/bathroom into a sauna, with temperatures over 100 degrees and humidity thick enough to cut with a knife! Our only relief is to open both windows in the room or turn on the shower exhaust fan, a real energy saver while trying to air condition the rest of the house. We purchased this combo due to size requirements as we could not find any others that would fit other than mini apartment size units. Happy NO! but stuck with it. P.S. The matching washing machine is terrific.
