Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Poor customer service

I wrote a review a few months ago about my food processor falling apart and customer service kindly followed up asking me to email them. I did and never heard back from them.

Dissapointed

GoldyB 5/5/2018

Bought this and a few other high-end KitchenAid products for my spouse. This thing is heavy and awkward to move. No problems with melting parts or blades breaking. Our noted flaw was found while trying to use the 'dicer' attachment. We were dicing onions...nothing extraordinary. The attachment routinely jammed up with unprocessed onion. After the third disassembly and cleaning, we gave up. BTW, the dicing apparatus is filled with razor sharp blades. Cutting gloves are recommend. Anyway, after this dicing misadventure, we found that the unit no longer worked. After troubleshooting the processor, we purchased a new gearbox. This Saturday morning, I am sitting in front of our disassembled processor and have found that the chinese-made food processor housing has failed. Two of the four potted metal mounts that hold the entire motor and gear box assembly have snapped off. Remember how we mentioned that this thing is heavy? That weight is from the motor and gearbox that hang upside down from four little screws going into the best potted aluminum junk china has to offer. Pro Line? Really? $500 for the processor. $75 for a gear box. $180 for a housing. Lesson learned.

Lou50 5/4/2018

Broke within a few uses. Looks like something actually melted. The dicer is useless. Clogs up. I've had to leave it on the side with rotting vegetables in it. I cannot open it. Just too much going on with it. Really regret buying it.

Food Processor

Jannakp 4/24/2018

I bought this when they first came out. A blade broke and Kitchen Aid handled that issue very quick and professionally. Love the machine, although I find the dicing aspect difficult to use. Now, a piece inside the black handle on the lid is broken and finding parts on your website is impossible. I guess the high price equates to not needing repairs!

Excellent, regardless of other reviews!

Fango 3/6/2018

I got this because I wanted the biggest, baddest processor I could find, to handle the huge amounts of produce that I process and can all year. Power and durability was my first concern, and the big 16 cup capacity was a nice bonus. I am convinced that there is NO other option with anywhere near the smooth, quiet power. I am posting this review due to the many other ridiculous negative reviews by what must be incompetent users. I have many razor sharp kitchen knives that I am very proficient with, whether butchering, boning, trimming, slicing, dicing... I also dislike gadgets. Two days ago, I first used the adjustable slicer attachment to make a massive salad including rainbow carrots, radishes, turnips, gold and red beets, cucumbers, brussels sprouts and so much more. Hard or soft, small or large, this machine handled everything perfectly, and so much faster than even I could by hand. Clean-up is a breeze no matter what else you may read in other reviews. My wife loves this for pastry dough, which she says turns out better than with our stand mixer. She also says clean-up is quick and easy. I have only used the dicer for some zuccini, and that only so I could comment on it here. It worked just fine, although I find the small size (8 mm) to be impractical for most applications I have. On this subject I would defer to the many positive video reviews on YouTube. My only possible criticism would be initial cost, and two items not included that I would definitely use (parmesan disk and egg whisk). $600 is a large investment that many may find hard to justify. Whether it's in the kitchen, shop or jobsite, my tools work hard, and quality costs. I'd rather pay upfront rather than replacement. If you are like us, this is a great investment. If you don't do much processing, perhaps it's not. Either way, this is a high quality, high power, smooth working appliance, and that's a fact, have no doubt!

Broken blade

Pier 3/1/2018

I almost love it

BravoBaker 1/31/2018

I got this food processor about 1 month ago, it dices quickly, cleanly with not too many issues, shreds cheese well, purrees great, slices efficiently, and kneads dough to my immense satisfaction, however there is one flaw that concerns me, the dial that operates the pulse/on functions always felt a little sticky. Over the month that I've used this the dial has gotten stiffer, when I pulse instead of flinging back the dial stays stuck for a few seconds. When you move the dial to on it squeaks a lot and feels stiff. I really like this food processor but I am concerned, since it is so stiff to turn the dial I am scared that I will force it and that it will break. I own several kitchenaid products and love the pro line series, however I also had a problem with my mixer, its upsetting that given how expensive the pro line products are. I want to recommend this food processor but the problem with the dial is concerning.

Big and powerful, visually appealing. Not worth it

Paxson 12/23/2017

Haven't used as much as we thought we would, it is just so heavy and we don't want to leave it up on the counter all the time. Just used it for the second time yesterday (in over a year). Had just as much trouble with the dicing kit as the first time. It is confusing and difficult to assemble. After processing 2 onions, it was jammed up. It took a lot of hand strength (and fear of cutting myself) to open up the dicer assembly, then a ton of time to clean it up. I decide to do the rest of my chopping by hand. Then when I was washing it up, I realized the center part of the lid had a little metal piece fall off, the area that it was attached to melted. I've seen other reviews with issues on melting. Also, the parts holder should have a more detailed diagram...it is not easy to get everything in there and actually close the lid. "Pro Line" equipment should not be this time consuming to prepare to use, to use, and to clean up. Actually, it should be the opposite. I have a Vitamix that I also spent close to $600 on and I can pull that out, use it, wash it and put it away in no time. Not this KitchenAid Pro Line food processor. I would rather do everything by hand. It might take longer, but isn't nearly as stressful and aggrevating. I know KitchenAid has great support and warranty, but it requires a receipt and buying this online...I don't know if I will be able to find the receipt.

Horrible dicing kit will rune whole machine

Rick S 12/23/2017

Big and very expensive which is fine except the best feature doesn't work. The dicing kit melts the plastic on the blade at center shaft. This has happened twice. Not worth losing a whole shelf for this large machine and accessories just to have it melt down. Easier and faster to chop by hand. I do love the stand mixer.

Difficult to use

Susan31161 11/28/2017

I received this processor as a gift from my husband. I love to cook and he was so excited to replace my 30 year old processor with this professional processor. The good news is that the processor is so quiet and so fast. I really like the outcome. But . . . the blade is so difficult to remove. It gets stuck and I literally have to pull it from the base with all the strength I can muster while holding down the base. It's equally as hard to get on. Very frustrating. And now the shaft on the blade is broken and I have to shell out $ to buy a replacement. Too bad because I really want to love this processor. I'm giving it an average of 3 for ease of use because everything with exception to removing the blade shaft is a 5. Ease of use removing and replacing the blade shaft is less than a 1. Same for features, innovation and performance. If it weren't for that dang blade I would give it a 5 across the board.

center turning shaft twisted

Bear 10/15/2017

Bought this a year ago and was very excited about dicing feature. Worked fairly well. If I did too much would pop out the grate and I would just push it back in. As I've used it the attachment had a more difficult time pushing onto the center shaft and removing. Hard to use,

Very Disappointed

8/11/2017

I have had this machine for over a year and found that it poorly performs for slicing (doesn't evenly slice), dicing (does not work at all, jams and inconsistent) and blending (my dips end up grainy regardless of blending time). The 4 cup processing bowl leak and extra bowl leak into the base work, requiring me to wash every piece of the equipment with every use. I strongly recommend not purchasing this expensive piece of equipment!

Good, but not for the price. Very difficult to dice onions,

7/30/2017

Great for chopping firm foods. Dicer was difficult to fit, and almost impossible to dice onions. frequently had to stop and unclog the blade. I finally gave up due to it was too time consuming. I could hand chop faster. My dicer blade broke due to frequently trying to re-fit it into the chopper. Dicer is not nearly as easy to use as they try to present it. There was a kitchen aid demo lady that was helpful at the store, however,it took weeks before she was available. The online demo was not helpful with real problems.

disappointed

6/2/2017

bought the pro line thinking this would be my forever and favorite food processor. I have used it only a handful of times and find the product an extreme disappointment. One of my first uses was to use the dicer - which was messy...- used another time and the bowl melted, could not figure what went wrong, ordered another bowl for $54 and tried again several months later. Again blending banana - so not stressing the machine - the bowl melted and food leaked. I followed directions, didn't overfill... Don't expect this with normal use. Not sure if faulty or bad design...., but a waste of my money to think I was getting a pro line of equipment, expect better outcomes with a discount line. See photo,. Design is bulky which I expected in a pro line, OK to clean. Disappointed that I invested in this and continue to chop by hand.

My dicing kit is breaking

5/23/2017

I bought this model with expectation of a great quality and the innovativeness I associate Kitchenaid with. I did not mind paying the high price because I believed in the brand. I feel very dissapointed that the dicing kit breaks apart from the top after every use. I have hardly used my machine :(

Very Disappointed

4/9/2017

Having used cheaper food processors over the last 30 years I decided to invest in what I would have considered a more superior and certainly a much more expensive model. Kitchenaid Artisan Processor. I am extremely disappointed in this processor. It is big, heavy and ridiculously difficult to even open and attach the lid...as for the attachments...crazy! If I could return this item I could. If I bought this processor at a similar price to previous ones I still would not be happy with it. I love cooking and I used my previous one several times a week. I would not recommend this model.

KitchenAid stands behind their products!

4/1/2017

I bought the Pro-line food processor when it first came out, as I really wanted its dicing capability. I have loved this capability and use it all the time. Recently, it stopped working. When I called KitchenAid, I was so happy to talk to a US based customer service rep who dealt with my problem in a very prompt and professional manner. After a brief (3 min) discussion on the problem, she quickly cleared me for a full replacement (even though I never registered my product and didn't know if it was/wasn't under warranty; even the shipping was covered). That type of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is rare nowadays, and made me even more certain I will buy many more KA products in the future (although I have many already)!

Love with a touch of mold

2/11/2017

I love this machine, I used it daily, but every time I used it, small pieces of food got stuck inside the lid and the handle of the large bowl. I tried to get the food out in all ways I could think of, and gave up after the food residues started to grow white tendrils. It got really discusting after a couple of weeks. I've gotten the lid replaced by my local supplier for free last week. I decided to avoid processing any liquids in it to avoid getting food up into the lid. But after one single use I have the same problem all over again. This makes me very sad since I looove using this machine. How do I clean the lid and the handle of the large bowl? :(

Very Large / Good for Some things

1/13/2017

My husband (who loves to cook) bought this about 3 years ago. It has a phenomenal amount of power. Does everything in terms of chopping and blending, but it doesn't get 5 stars from me because it is so big I've no place to store it; and if you store it it is so big to take back out from the cabinet you could Julianne your carrots faster by hand. I keep it in the appliance garage, and i have to disassemble it to get it in there.

poor accessories

11/17/2016

I bought this almost two 1/2 years ago. I have replaced the small blade twice due to breaking. They both broke while making dressing. Now the top feeder has broker where the handle attaches. I paid over 700 for this thinking it was commercial grade. The accessories, discs, blades are poorly made! All the plastic parts are poor! however, the motor, and sturdiness of it is excellent. But what good is it if it keeps breaking blades.

Good product

11/13/2016

I got this product as an wedding anniversary gift over a year ago. Things that I really love are that it speeds up my cooking time:). For slicing and chopping, it is really good. On the other hand, for dicing and cleaning it is simply not. I have never been able to dice with it. All the veggies always get stuck and never go through. I have tried a couple of ties and fail to succeed. So I endup trying to clear the little dicing disc with the cleaner it comes with and it still does not remove anything, and I loose all the food trying on this attachment. Really bad. And the cleaning. Cleaning the slicing and chopping blades is rather easy. The difficult parts to clean are the dicing attachment and the lid. I dont use this food processor even on a weekly basis. Maybe once every two months or less, and the lid has becomed moldy between the inside parts. I still have not figured out how to clean that away. My husband does not even want a use it because of uncleanable mold or food particulates in the lead.

So disappointed

9/29/2016

I bought this robot three months ago, hoping and believing that I'm buying the best brand for food processors. I'm soooo disappointed and mad at myself for spending this amount of money on an appliance that is not reliable at all!!! after the first two weeks, the dicing disk stopped working and wans't turning anymore! after a month, the machine starts to get hot and stopped working! I sent it to the kitchenaid center in France and they fixed the problem in the engine (+I've never received the new dicing disk). And tonight, the cutting disk stopped working!!! I had never used the garantee of any of my appliances this much in a short amount of time....!!!

Great for many things, but not kneading bread dough

5/22/2016

I have had mine for 3 years. I use it weekly to slice or shred veggies, mix chopped meat salads, etc... I find that the multiple bowls work well for various quantities I need, and are convenient to hold components of the recipe until all is ready. I have not had any trouble with flying pieces of processed food. I have not had good luck using the dicing assembly. Soft foods like tomatoes turn to mush, and fibrous veggies like onions and celery tend to peel off layers that get stuck in the black plastic cover, so I don't use the dicing assembly often. I was however, most disappointed in my 2 attempts to knead bread dough. I followed the few instructions in the manual, but both times the dough quickly worked it's way inside the core of the dough blade, and down the motor shaft into the motor housing. I spent hours cleaning it with a toothbrush and multiple toothpicks, trying to get the dough out. Boy, was I dumb to try it a second time!!! Just recently, the thickness selection knob broke off. I called KA, and because of the 5 yr warranty, they sent me a new one (woohoo!). Given the "innovative" features haven't worked that well for me, I probably would have been just as well off with a simpler processor, but since it's still under warranty, I'll take the new one, thank you very much! I definitely will NOT knead bread dough in this one!

Happy at first, until both blades broke

5/15/2016

I loved this food processor. It was my first KitchenAid and I tend to, when I buy things, do a lot of research. I was impressed by it's BPA free plastics. Over the last couple of years, my partner and I used it maybe once or twice a month at the most. So nothing serious. Then the first smaller blade broke. Then the next bigger blade. They both broke the same way. After examining it closely, it's clear to see that the tiny bit of metal hook which extends into the plastic is very thin and not adequate for a food processor this powerful. I thought "no big deal" and I made contact with local KitchenAid representation (I'm in Estonia now) and asked for parts. They wanted 44 euro and 32 for each part, about $90usd including shipping. I don't mind paying for quality, but as a first time customer, I'm not going to be throwing further money at this thing. You guys should acknowledge that these blades are inadequate, have some sort of replacement program instead of trying to make further profits by over-charging for what are clearly cheap parts. There are things I could understand failing in a food processor over the years, the blades breaking while chopping up some carrots are not one of those things.

Could be much better

2/6/2016

I use this item several times a week to dice pounds of vegetables. It is such an improvement from doing it all by hand. But there are a few things that really bother me that I believe could be improved on. 1) The first is every time I place vegetables in the chute, I have to cover the chute with my hand otherwise I get many pieces of vegetables come flying out the chute and it dirties my cabinets and even ceiling. I believe the chute can be designed better to help this problem. I would try making the chute an angled slide. Like a water slide. So that when the vegetables hit the blades, it is not right under the opening of the chute and have bits and pieces pop out as they are diced. I know the company could provide a cover for the chute that can be used after the vegetables are placed in the chute but that would be so inconvenient to place and then remove each time I placed vegetables in the chute. I have been placing my hand over the chute and it works ok but still bits and pieces get through and pop out and make a mess. 2) Another annoyance is the since the chute is off to the edge of the bowl, the vegetables don't spread out evenly in the bowl. After a while many of the vegetables are mostly piles up under the chute and a lot of the bowl goes unused. If I keep trying to dice vegetables even though there is space left in the bowl, the machine will choke. I think that placing the chute in the middle of the bowl would make the vegetables spread out through the entire bowl and I could use all the space in the bowl. 3) Occasionally a piece of vegetables gets stuck between the dicing blade and the circular blade and the machine comes to a stop. This is very annoying since then I have to take off the cover, disassemble the dicing kit so I can clean it out and then reassemble everything and continue to use it. I'm not sure how this can be improved on but it very annoying when it happens.

Bowls scratch quickly on inside.

11/22/2015

I 'm using this a few months and the big bowl is almost opaque. Looks very cheap, not like Kitchen Aid at all!

Awesome machine

10/18/2015

This is a beast of a food processor! It is very large and did not fit on the counter under my standard cabinets, but it fits under the cabinets over my nook area. The attachments also come in a huge storage box. The candy apple color is gorgeous and looks beautiful on my counter. I am very pleased with the performance of this machine. It dices potatoes like a champ, in seconds. You just drop them in the shoot and bam, they are diced! It is very sturdy. The performance gets 5 stars. I'm giving 4 stars because mine did not come with 2 discs and trying to find them to purchase has been difficult. As pricey as this machine is, it should have came with all attachments.

Very disappointing

7/19/2015

I am very disappointed in the performance of this food processor. Maybe it's effective for slicing since I haven't tried that, but the basic operation and effectiveness of the regular blade is poor. I thought having two sizes of bowls would be great, but you have to use the smaller bowl inside the larger one, so you end up dirtying both. It's also very big and bulky and thus doesn't fit on my counter (and I have a relatively large kitchen). Having to change all the parts depending on the function being used is annoying also.

Great Decision

6/13/2015

This purchase is one of the best I have ever made. This processor is "user friendly" with great features. A really big help in preparing great foods for dinner parties and get-togethers.

Love my ProLine

6/7/2015

I finally replaced my 10-year old KitchenAid food processor with the ProLine and it looks like it's going to keep me in great shape for at least another decade. Love the sturdiness of the base and the efficiency of the blades. Definitely worth the investment.
