The oven I had before and stop working, was I thought better and cook nicely, the company told me they do not make that oven any longer. I returned it and Kitchen Aid sent me the above oven. This is a electric plain oven. The one I had was a conventional oven. I hope I'm saying it right. I really loved it. This is why I rated it a 9. As they couldn't return the same kind of oven I had before, unless I paid the different for another one that is updated from the one I had before. I would have thought, they would at lease try and fix it, or send me the same kind if they had it.

We bought to replace a Breville that we had lots of issues with. This oven is great with controls on the bottom to save space. Subtle beep when done is nice as is the large display. Works like a champ.

I have to start by saying wow!!! I cannot believe how great this countertop oven is!! Granted, I have used countertop ovens in the past but this one blows them all out of the water!!!!!
Design:
I like how it resembles a traditional oven. The glass door allows me to see my food as it is cooking and ensures I don't burn anything lol!! I like the depth as well. I can fit a 12" pizza pan in without having to worry about cutting the pizza up and doing have at a time because with this oven, it all fits in!!
Usability:
Very easy to use!! Instructions are included but I feel like everything is standard and self explanatory. The digital display looks really good and I absolutely love the preheating function!! When I'm mixing up my recipes, I can easily preheat the oven so that it's ready when I need it. I can bake, broil, reheat, etc. Everything works like a charm and I've yet to have anything not cook all the way through. Food is done fast, taste delicious, and it's all done right on my counter.
Overall Opinion:
Hands down, definitely a 5 star item!! I have no negative comments at all and feel that this countertop oven is the future of countertop ovens. It looks great, is built great, works great, and makes food taste just like or possibly better than a traditional oven!!!

This oven is great, heats up fast for those days that our family is hungry and can't wait. Very convenient and takes little space on the counter top. No more microwave and we don't have to wait for the conventional oven to heat up which takes a long time.

I love this digital oven. The only thing digital about this is the display. You still have dials to adjust the various settings. It heated up quickly and cooked evenly. It is big enough to fit a 'normal sized' pizza in it. It is much easier and cooler to fire this up instead of my oven. The display is easy to read from a distance.

I'm so impressed with this toaster oven - I think it's the best one I've ever had in my life!! I've had the pleasure of using the Kitchen-Aid Digital Countertop oven for over a week now, and here's my pro's and cons list:
Pros:
-A long power cord
-A wide & long handle that opens/closes the glass door
-So easy to open and close the glass door while I'm cooking
-Easy to clean inside and out
-Very attractive!! I really like the black & chrome strip in the front
-The size of the oven fits perfectly in my small area of counterspace, between my oven and refridgerator without compromising the rest of the counterspace
-Made with quality overall, including the enamel-coated pan w/chrome plated steel broiling rack
-2 levels that the oven rack can be moved to (top & bottom, depending on what you're cooking).
-Easy to understand mode knob and timer knob, with digital display of temperature number
-Inside of the oven is easy to clean, with a little soap & water on a sponge
-LCD display to adjust temperature is bright and easy to see, and can be adjusted even if the oven has set temperatures
-When I had the mode knob on "Reheat", I click start and it automatically preheats, then sets it's own temperature and time! I reheated leftovers, pizza, and baked chicken, and they all came out as good as it tasted when I first made it!
-When I had the mode knob on "Bake", I baked a large potato. I set it to 400 degrees for an hour, then realized it was close to being cooked - the timer allowed me to increase the time very easily (needed an extra 15 min) and it came out pefect!! Cooked throughout, and fluffy when I cut into it.
-When I had the mode knob on "Toaster", the toaster asks how many slices to toast AND the shade of the toast!! 3 shades toasts just right.
-The guide that was included is extremely helpful and easy to follow/read.
-When it finishes preheating, it let's out a chime sound, then the countdown timer starts. Then when my food was done cooking, another chime sounded off
-It has a cool down surface on top of the oven
-The oven doesn't get too overheated at high temperatures
-Presett options, i.e. bagels, pizza dial mode works awesome.
-The oven shuts off automatically after cooking, which is a great feature!! My last oven would just stay on after cooking.
Cons:
-The chrome strip in front of the oven tends to get very hot, so I needed to be aware not to touch that surface. I'm hoping the chrome doesn't change color or become dull from being hot.
-Chimes need to be a little louder (not sure if they can be adjusted).
In summary, this oven is very user friendly and I highly recommend it!

I got this yesterday and couldn't wait to try it. I LOVE it!! Kitchen Aid makes a superior product. I put some bread in to make toast. It can toast 1-8 slices w no problems. It was perfectly brown on both sides!!! The multi function cooking options is wonderful , will make summertime much easier. The sleek fashionable look is wonderful. Not bulky looking and the black is appealing . Easy to use and even easier to clean! LOVE IT!!!!

I love it! We are a family of 4 and when we make toasts, it takes a while to toast 8 slices using our toaster since it is two at a time. with our small ovan, we can do all of them at once.
We also use it to warm up chicken nuggets vs having to turn on our bog oven.

can't say enough good about this oven, fits on counter great, cooks great, and has a variety of settings and cooks just as good as my big oven.Will use it alot this summer in 100 degree weather as it will not heat up whole house. very easy for my 16 year old to use, and clean up is is easy. Overall great oven and easy to use.

I got this Kitchenaid countertop digital oven about a week ago. It comes with one wire rack, a small cookie sheet, and a wire roasting rack that fits into the cookie sheet. I have cooked in it about 6 times so far and it has lived up to my expectations. It preheats quickly, it toasts bread with ease. It take alot less time then a traditional oven. One of the features I like is that it has a digital countdown for how long your toast or bagel have left till it is done. It has cooked my kids frozen chicken tenders and pizza with no problems. Overall it is a great addition to the kitchen.

This oven heats evenly and the controls are minimal and easy to use. If I had to find a drawback, it would be the size. I knew it was bigger than my previous oven, but didn't realize just how much bigger. Easily resolved, just had to move it to another place in the kitchen. The benefit of that size of course is just how much room there is in here. I feel like I could roast 2 whole chickens! Definitely anticipate using my kitchen oven less often now.

So far I really like the Oven. It heats up quickly and is doing a great job. It has presets for all kinds of foods. The Kitchen-aid has 3 positions and the real Broil position has cut my cooking time by at least half
the Oven does not start the Time countdown, it says pre-heating, then the Oven reaches the desired temp it beeps so you can put your food in and then click start. be sure your able to hear it because its not super loud. I like to bake but in the summer its too hot for a real oven. this however works perfectly dont heat up the whole place. Ive cooked stuffed pork-chops and whole hams in it perfectly and still dont over heat my house. one of the best features is it will turn itself off so if your fall asleep waiting for something to finish you dont have to worry about it burning as the timer shuts it off when it is time. Its fairly light so easy for a girl or older person to lift and move. here is the settings it has. 9 PRE-SET FUNCTIONS + FROZEN OPTION roasting, to broiling to baking - Bake, Broil, Toast, Warm, Reheat, Bagel, Pizza, Cookies, Roast + Frozen option.I have also notice it is a bit bigger inside than most others i have used. all around i love this oven highly recommend. Its also very sleek and stylish in my opinion.

This is one of the nicest looking counter top ovens I've ever seen. The black makes it look really nice, and professional.
The options for cookies comes in handy a lot. I went out and got some refrigerated cookie dough, and I just make cookies when I want them. I get fresh cookies in minutes, instead of having the full sized oven heat up.

I love this KitchenAid counter-top oven. I has so many setting and heats very quickly. The toast cooks a lot faster than than the previous counter-top oven I had. It is a nice size so it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. I can't wait to try baking a pie in it. It will be nice to have a second over the holidays.

I like this because when a regular oven is just too big to cook a smaller item this is aces.I cooked Small pizzas/breaded chicken and fish/Breakfast muffins and many other foods.I like how it preheats and you have a count down timer.Small enough to fit on counter with plenty of space to put other items.Just needs louder chime when food is done.Overall great to have.

I needed an oven and I decided to go with KitchenAid Digital Countertop Oven and just love everything about it. It is small,compact, and lightweight. Small on size but huge on a variety of settings and features.There are none different settings and you can bake, roast, and toast,with everything in between. I just love KitchenAid.

I put this KitchenAid digital countertop oven in our garage kitchenette and I love it for when we are entertaining. It is wonderful to be able to place a full sized 9x 13 pan in it. I have used it for warming things up, baking pizza and cookies, and making garlic toast. It really is like having an added oven right on my countertop!

This is a very attractive, compact and functional countertop oven. It has all the capabilities to toast, bake, broil and do just about everything your kitchen main oven provides…a multi-task appliance. I toasted flat bread and bagels and they were heated and toasted to perfection. The oven's quality design allows you to easily select functions and read the large-scale digital display. It's a bit oversized yet it still fit comfortably on our countertop. The oven accommodates a 9" baking pan (provided) that can be used for steaks, hamburgers, pizza and all kinds of breads. After testing all its functions, everything cooked in the oven was completed with no heating issues. Although, the unit is protected via stainless steel, it will become hot to touch no matter what function you are using. It remains a very well insulated unit that contains the heat without a blast to the outside. If you need to have the oven pre-heated before baking, etc. I found it took anywhere from 3 to 4 minutes to pre-heat…that is very fast.
I've had Kitchen Aid products in my kitchen for years and they all performed well. This countertop oven is well representative of being built and designed for long term use. You will also find the learning mode to utilize all its functions is non-complicated thereby making it a most useful appliance when you don't want to fire-up your main kitchen oven…a great substitute and energy saver.
I give this oven a 4-STAR rating. It would have received a 5 rating had the oven been a little less obtrusive on the countertop.

Recieved this to try. We made pizza, onion rings and mozzarella sticks in it. The oven cooked well and put food was the right crispness. The shelves were a nice size. I liked the big handle on the door. Its a good size for the counter top too. Over all i love this oven

KitchenAid-Digital Countertop Oven is a quality product. It is convenient to have it on the counter in the kitchen. When I have company I need to make extra dishes so having an extra oven that fits on the counter is great. It works just as well as a regular large oven.

Nice design and functionality, I was very pleased with my new countertop oven. The settings worked as I expected, but a nice surprise was the amount of room inside the appliance. The shelf cam be adjusted and the accessory included is a durable 9x13 pan with a removable rack. Clean up is a breeze, this has quality finishes. I would highly recommend to friends and family.
